Description

10 Thames Street is an early 19th century building. It is a three-storey and attic structure built of painted brick. A sill band runs along the second floor, and the roof has a steep hip with tiled covering, incorporating two flat-roofed dormers. The upper floors have four windows, with tall recessed sash windows; the glazing bars are preserved in the upper part of each window. The ground floor features two doors and a modern shop front designed in a Regency style. The building forms part of a group of significance with 2 Thames Street (Knights Tavern), numbers 5 to 16 (consecutively), and numbers 18 to 25 (consecutively) on Thames Street.
