Description

BRAY STROUD FARM ROOD SU 97 NW (south-east end) 10/23 Barn at Stroud Farm, approximate1y 35 metres east of Stroud Farmhouse G.V. II*

Barn. C15. Timber frame, weatherboarded; corrugated iron roof with half hips and gablets. Gabled midstrey. Rectangular plan of 5 large framed bays with central midstrey on west. Interior: fine original timber frame with large jowled posts, queen strut roof with clasped purlins and reducing principal rafters. Long arch knee braces and windbraces. Rafter holes in feet of rafters facing north.
