Description
Coventry Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 15th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building features a timber frame, with sections of weatherboard, brick infill, and render. It has an old tile nipped roof with a gable facing northwest. The cottage has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall, with two chimneys topped with clay pots. The front of the cottage, which faces the road, has weatherboarding on the first floor and brick on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a 19th-century, two-light casement window with glazing bars. The northeast side of the cottage has no windows on the first floor. There are plain doors at each end of the building, with two two-light casement windows situated between them. Coventry Cottage is located next to Goffs Cottage and Ivy Cottage on the right, which are listed separately.
