Description
Nos 17 to 21 on Victoria Street are a row of buildings dating from around 1820 to 1830. They are two storeys tall and constructed from stock brick, featuring a parapet with coping and a slate roof. Each building has two windows on the first floor, with the sashes of No 21 retaining their original glazing bars and a ground floor window with four panes by four panes. No 17 includes a three-light rectangular bay window from around 1900, while No 19 has a modern shop window. The doorways are round-headed and have leaded fanlights with marginal and loop and circle patterns. Nos 17 and 21 still have their original three-panel doors. These buildings are included for their group interest, as they form a cohesive group with Nos 17 to 45 (odd).
