Description

The south-west gate and lodge to St Alban's Street, built around 1842 by Blore, is constructed of Portland stone rubble with dressings. The gateway features large crow stepped crenels. The lodge is three stories high and includes a corner turret, sill courses, and a battered plinth. It also has lancet windows and a crenellated parapet.
