Description

Royal Stables House was built around 1842 by E. Blore. It is a tall, one-storey building with a basement, faced with Bath stone ashlar. The design features castellated details, including a parapet with broad crenels and grouped diagonally set chimneys. There is a square short tower on the south side. The entrance bay is splayed into the wall and has a four-centred arched doorway. Additionally, there are canted and rectangular stone oriel bay windows with pent stone roofs.
