Description
No. 7 Church Street is a 16th-century building that has been modernised and stands three storeys tall. The ground floor is made of colour-washed brick, while the upper floors feature timber framing that is plastered, topped with an old tile roof. The building has a single gabled front, with the first floor overhanging the ground floor, supported by a moulded cornice beam below. The second floor is slightly set back from the first and includes a three-light casement window. The first floor has a modern leaded window with top hoppers. On the ground floor, there is an angular bay window with modern lights and a two-panelled door with two stone steps to the left. Both panels of the door are glazed with modern leaded glazing. Nos. 4 to 7, known as The Church Rooms, along with Nos. 12 and 13 and the cobble sets in Church Street, form a group.
