Description

No 3 High Street is a late 18th-century building that stands five storeys tall and has been altered over time. The upper part of the building is finished in stucco and features rusticated quoins, extending up to a parapet with stone coping. It has an old tiled roof and includes two three-light windows on the upper floors, which are framed with architrave and have a small moulded cornice. The ground floor has a plain 19th-century shopfront, framed with pilasters and an entablature. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive), 4a, 5 to 9 (consecutive), 9A, 10 to 26 (consecutive), the Dairy Pavilion in the garden of No 7, and Mistress Pages House.
