Description
Nos 9 and 9A on High Street are late 18th century buildings that stand three stories tall with an attic. They are constructed of brick and feature a string course at the second floor level, topped by a parapet. The roof is a mansard style covered with slate and includes two dormer windows. The upper floors have four windows that are framed with architrave. The house is set back from the street, while a modern shop occupies the ground floor, extending to the street front. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 4, 4a, 5 to 9, 10 to 26, the Dairy Pavilion in the garden of No 7, and Mistress Pages House.
