Description

This is a late 18th-century building on High Street. It is three storeys high, with an additional attic and basement level. Originally built with brown brick and red dressings, the exterior is now painted. A moulded string course runs along the first floor, and a band marks the second floor. The building features a moulded and dentilled wooden cornice and a hipped roof covered in old tiles, with one hipped dormer window. The front has three windows, featuring renewed sash windows with glazing bars and shallow aprons below the sills. A modern door is located under a porch on the right-hand side. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 4, 4a, 5 to 9, 9a, 10-26, the Dairy Pavilion in the garden of number 7 and Mistress Pages House.
