Large house. Early C18, extended late Cl8, C19, altered C20. Brick, old tile hipped roof. Originally rectangular plan of 3x2 bays, now larger rectangular plan with 2 added bays. 2 storeys. 2 chimneys with offset heads and clay pots. Sash windows with glazing bars and gauged brick heads. Moulded and dentilled brick eaves. Road (east) front: 3 bays. First-floor string. Centre sash window flanked by 2, tripartite sash windows in moulded architrave surrounds. 3 taller windows on ground floor. Entrance (south) front: 4 bays. Semi-circular-headed window with iron balcony in centre on first floor. C20 entrance door below with moulded architrave surround and moulded hood on shaped brackets; a small 2-light casement window with glazing bars either side of door. 2 sash windows on ground floor on the left with segmental-arched heads. The small adjoining service cottage and converted barn on the south west are of no special interest.
