Description
The wall with railings and gates to Windsor Methodist Church was built in 1876 and is located along Alma Road. It features rubblestone brought to course with ashlar dressings, and includes cast iron gates and railings. The wall has chamfered coping and consists of alternating lower and taller sections, with the lower sections originally containing railings, which are mostly missing now. A short section of railings remains at the north-western corner of the church, set on a dwarf wall, and includes decorative panels with interlinked circles and club and anthemion-style finials. The gateways have ashlar jambs topped with cross-gabled finials, roll-moulded coping, and sunken crosses on the front. The double gates are designed similarly to the surviving railings.
