Description

The Roman Catholic Church of St Edward is a building dating from 1867-8, designed by CA Buckler. It is constructed from Kentish ragstone rubble with Bath stone dressings, topped by a slate roof. The church is a large building with aisles and a tall clerestory, and it lacks a tower. It features late geometrical tracery. The chancel is shallow, and a south porch is positioned adjacent to the west front.
