Description

This is a circa 1840-50 pair of buildings, numbers 10 and 11 Trinity Place. Number 11 is set back from the street line. The buildings are three storeys high, constructed of red brick with stuccoed ground floors on number 11. They have gabled fronts, each with a single window. Number 10 features pierced bargeboards and a finial, while number 11 has plain bargeboards. A rectangular stucco bay window extends across the ground floor of number 10. Number 11 has a canted bay window covering the ground and first floors. The windows are recessed and have marginal glazing. A decorative cornice, supported by consoles, sits above the first-floor window of number 10. Set-back flanking bays feature stucco pilasters and corniced doorways. Numbers 1 to 23 Trinity Place, together with Holy Trinity Church, form a group, as do numbers 1 to 10 Trinity Place, located on Claremont Road.
