Description

A pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick and have tile gabled roofs. They have a rectangular plan with extensions at each end. The cottages are two storeys high, and feature three chimneys: one on the rear roof slope and one on each gable end, all with offset heads and clay pots. The front facing the road features 19th-century windows with glazing bars. The left cottage has five windows on the first floor. The right cottage has four two-light casements and one sliding sash window. The ground floor of the left cottage has one two-light window, while the ground floor of the right cottage features two three-light windows with segmental brick heads, and two large, coupled fixed windows. Each cottage has a plain entrance door, each with a small, pedimented hood.
