Description
A row of three cottages located in Bisham, dating to the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid and late 20th century. The cottages are constructed of brick with a roof of old tiles, gabled on the left-hand side and half-hipped on the right. They have a long rectangular plan with extensions to the rear. The cottages are two storeys in height. A ridge chimney is positioned to the right of the centre, and a further chimney is located on the left rear roof slope; both chimneys have clay pots. An overhanging eaves course is present. A small section of thin timber framing features in the gable at the right-hand end. The front of the cottages has eight bays, with 19th and 20th century casement windows with glazing bars – eight on the first floor and six on the ground floor. The ground floor windows have segmental brick arch heads. There are two plain entrance doors, the left-hand one featuring a hipped closed porch. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
