SU 67 NE PURLEY WESTBURY LANE (west side) 3/2 Barn And Stables Approximately 10 Metres To West Of Westbury Farmhouse

Barn and stables. Late C17. Flint with brick dressings, lacing courses, plinth and blocked loops. Old tile roof with C19 weatherboarded projecting.nipped gable on brackets over waggon entry to north. 3 bay barn to east. 2 storeys to west. South front: 2 large boarded doors in waggon entrance to right. Boarded loft door to left. 5 ground floor segmental headed windows to left, some louvred. Segmental headed boarded door between first and second windows from left, and segmental headed 2 leaf boarded door between fourth and fifth windows from left. Interior: stable block has middle cruck trusses with 2 collars.
