Description
This building is a barn and stables dating from the late 17th century, located approximately 10 metres to the west of Westbury Farmhouse. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings, featuring lacing courses, a plinth, and blocked loops. The roof is made of old tiles and has a 19th-century weatherboarded projecting gable on brackets above the waggon entry on the north side. The barn has three bays to the east and two storeys to the west.
On the south front, there are two large boarded doors in the waggon entrance to the right, and a boarded loft door to the left. There are five ground floor segmental headed windows to the left, some of which are louvred. Additionally, there is a segmental headed boarded door between the first and second windows from the left, and a segmental headed two-leaf boarded door between the fourth and fifth windows from the left. Inside, the stable block features middle cruck trusses with two collars.
