Description
An early 19th-century stable is located to the east of Bury Farmhouse. It is constructed of brick with a slate roof. The stable is two stories high, featuring a central door and an external staircase leading to a gabled loft door above. The ground floor has been altered, with two windows now present. Attached to the east of the stable is a barn, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier. This barn is timber-framed with a brick plinth, weatherboarded walls, and an old tile roof. It comprises three bays and boasts massive jowled posts, tiebeams, and collars, with a central strut between curved windbraces. Original rafter and wall framing are present, constructed of substantial timbers.
