Description
Bury Cottage is a building from the 17th century or earlier, which has been altered. The exterior features a mix of rendered surfaces, brick, and flint, all painted, with an old tiled roof. The cottage has two gables facing the road, both adorned with ornamental bargeboards, although the right-hand gable is set back. There is a door on the left side and a modern casement window on the right. The first floor has two openings, with a modern casement window on the left and a blocked opening on the right. The left gable includes one sash window on the first floor. On the east elevation, there are three sash windows on the first floor. The cottage has historical associations with local Protestant martyrs.
