Description
Jasmine Cottages are two houses that were formerly one, dating from the mid-17th century. They are timber framed with red brick nogging, and there is a 19th-century red brick addition to the right. The cottages have an old tile half-hipped roof with an off-centre ridge stack to the left above the door and a stack behind the ridge to the right. The building features a lobby entrance type with three framed bays to the left and stands two storeys tall.
On the first floor, there are three two-light casements, with a three-light casement situated between the first and second from the left. The two left-hand casements are fitted with louvred shutters. The ground floor has two two-light casements, with the one on the right having a segmental relieving arch, flanking two central three-light casements. The two left-hand casements on the ground floor also have louvred shutters. There are boarded doors between the first and second, and the third and fourth windows from the left, with the rightmost door featuring a segmental head. Additionally, there are two 20th-century gabled porches.
