Description
Westbury Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with later additions. It is constructed of red brick featuring some grey headers, with a flint plinth and a plat band. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice and an old tile roof, which includes end stacks to the south and west, as well as a ridge stack to the north-east.
The farmhouse has an L-plan layout, standing two storeys high with an attic. The north front consists of three bays, with a raised brick keystone above the right-hand ground floor window and a central boarded door located at the angle to the north. There are two gabled dormers on the north side, each with 2-light casements, and an additional gabled dormer on the west side, also featuring a 2-light casement.
To the west, there is a block made of red brick with an old tile roof, which includes a raking semi-dormer to the north with a 2-light leaded casement. This section is 1½ storeys high and has two 2-light segmental-headed casements on the north side. Further to the west, there is a one-storey block of red brick with an old tile roof and an end stack, which features a 3-light casement and a boarded door on the north side.
