Description

This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 10 meters north of Hawkridge Farmhouse in Bucklebury. The barn is timber framed, featuring a brick and flint plinth and weatherboarded sides. It has an old tile hipped roof with a catslide over an outshot to the southeast, and there is a hipped cart entrance in the third bay from the east to the north. The structure consists of seven framed bays, with cart entrances located to the south in the third and sixth bays from the east. Inside, the barn has queen strut trusses with transverse bracing.
