Description
This is a 17th-century barn located at the rear of Buckinghill Farm House. It has been restored in the 20th century. The barn features a timber frame with brick infill in the lower panels and weatherboard cladding above and on the ends. It has a plain tiled roof and consists of five framed bays with central opposing wagon entrances. The roof structure includes queen-strut and staggered butt-purlin elements. There is a pentice on the right end with a door in the center, which is connected to extensions at the back of the house. The barn was undergoing restoration at the time of the resurvey and is noted for its group value.
