Description

The barn at Buckland Farm is a 17th-century structure. It is timber-framed, standing on a plinth made of chalk and stone, and is weatherboarded with a cement roof. The barn features an aisle to the west and a wagon porch to the east. Inside, there are seven bays with a queen strut roof that has curved braces and staggered butt purlins. To the north, there is an attached cart-shed consisting of five bays supported by king-post trusses.
