Description
The Bothy is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century facade. The building features a thatched roof, which has a half hip on the east gable and an end chimney on the west, while the main chimney is positioned off centre to the right. The end walls are made of brick, and the east gable displays an exposed cruck-like timber frame, with the front being rendered. The structure is 1½ storeys high and includes two eaves dormers cut into the thatch on the left side, four casement windows, and a plain boarded door on the right. Additionally, there is a thatched, gabled porch on the west elevation.
