Description
Nos. 28 and 29 on Main Street are cottages built around 1840. They are constructed of brick with Bath stone quoins and lintels, topped with a tiled roof. The buildings have a rectangular plan and stand one and a half storeys high, featuring two eaves dormers on the east side and a central ridge stack.
The east elevation is symmetrical, with each cottage having one three-light casement window beneath the dormers. The entrances are flanked by doors in gabled brick and tiled porches that have arched openings. These cottages are included for their group value.
