Description

Manor Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. Constructed of grey brick with red dressings – red brick headers and stretchers to the 19th-century additions – it has tiled roofs. The building has a rectangular plan, with a 19th-century crosswing to the east and a 20th-century extension to the far east. It is two storeys and has an attic. There is a band at first floor level on the crosswing, a ridge chimney to the crosswing, and flanking chimneys to the main house.

The north elevation has a 20th-century casement window to the left-hand extension. The centre of the elevation displays the 19th-century crosswing, featuring cambered-headed casements: three-light and two-light on the ground floor, and one-light and one two-light windows on the first floor and in the attic. To the right of the crosswing is the main house, with glazing bar sashes and cambered heads; exposed box frames are visible to the left, and a semi-circular headed sash with radial glazing bars sits centrally above a large 20th-century gabled porch.
