Description
This is a farmbuilding dating from the late 18th century, built for Elizabeth Nelson as a farmhouse. It features a timber frame with weather-board cladding set on a brick plinth and has a hipped corrugated iron roof. The building consists of three bays. The central elevation facing the yard has a double board door, while the rear has an opposing door and another door to the left. Inside, there are jowled wall posts with short curved braces supporting the tie-beams, and straight braces to the framing. The roof structure includes collared queen strut trusses, through purlins, and curved wind braces in the central bay.
