Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres south of Wash Common Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick and weatherboarded sides, topped by a hipped corrugated iron roof. The barn has a hipped cart entrance on the east side and was formerly thatched. It consists of three framed bays with aisles all around, supported by queen post trusses that include transverse and longitudinal bracing.
