Description
Wheatlands Farmhouse is a house that dates from the mid 17th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick and timber framing with brick nogging, and features an old tile roof that has a half hip to the north. The building has one off-centre stack to the north on the ridge and another stack located behind a later addition. The farmhouse is 1½ storeys high and has two framed bays, with one half bay between them and an additional half bay to the right. The front has three windows, all of which are casements, and there is a central boarded door.
