Description

This is an early 19th-century building, originally the West Mills Almshouses and now used as a single dwelling. It has two storeys and is arranged with two windows to the front, plus a single window on the east return, where the house projects to create a new facade. The roof is hipped and covered in tiles, with tall brick stacks. The building is faced in cement-rendered brick, featuring a brick dentil eaves cornice. The windows are sash windows with exposed boxing and glazing bars, and the ground floor windows are arched. A modern porch has been added to the east return, and an old doorway in the corner leads to a small rear courtyard, with a boarded door.
