Description

These are early 18th-century almshouses located off Main Street on the west side. They are constructed of brick and feature steeply pitched 20th-century pantile roofs. The building has a first-floor band and a single central ridge stack, comprising a single storey plus garrets with two bays. The roof is supported by cruck trusses.

The main west front includes a central pair of doors set in plain jambs, with single casement windows on either side. Above these, there are two small central leaded casements. The gables feature a single leaded Yorkshire sash above. On the west side, there are paired central close boarded doors, flanked by single leaded Yorkshire sashes with shutters, all topped with segmental heads.
