9/4 Barn and Stables at Bothampstead Farm approximately 50 metres south west of farmhouse

Threshing barn. Late C17 extended C18. Timber framed, gabled and half hipped iron roof; weatherboarded. 4 framed bays, 2 with double queen post roof, 2 with queen post roof. Jowled posts in C17 build, plain in extension, Stables adjoining on the west. Late C18. Brick, old tile roof half hipped on left, gabled on right. Planked loading door in centre with small gable over; 4-light window below with segmental arch. Hide entry on right, smaller C20 stable door on left.
