Description
This small barn, located approximately 30 metres southeast of Trumpletts Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame with a half hipped and gabled iron roof, and is set on a low brick and flint plinth, with weatherboarding. The barn consists of four framed bays, with a hipped wagon entry in the second bay from the right and a later aisle added on the west side. Inside, the roof is supported by queen struts and constant principal rafters, with jowled posts and curved wind and knee braces. The carpenters' marks are complete and in the correct sequence.
