Description

This is a house built in the 1850s. It is an unusual end-of-terrace property, forming a two-storey element alongside the three-storey numbers 54 to 70 (even) South Street, which are slightly later in date but share the same roofline. The house is constructed of grey brick with stucco lintels. It features a stucco plinth and a band over the ground floor, as well as stucco quoins to the ground floor. Curved brackets support the flat eaves, and the roof is covered with slate, hipped in style. There are two bays by three windows, with glazing bar sash windows. A recessed door is accessed via an arched entrance.
