The music room at Highdown School in Emmer Green is a building from the 17th century or early 18th century, originally a five-bay double-aisled barn that has been converted. It is constructed of brick and features an old tiled roof. There is a central entry on each side of the building, with timbered gable ends and entries, and quarter hipped gables to the main ridge, while part of the structure is weatherboarded.
