Description

46 Surley Row is a building dating from the 17th or early 18th century. It has two storeys and is constructed of colour-washed flint, featuring brick quoins, window surrounds, and a string course at the first-floor level. The north front has a central two-storey gable, with the roof extending down to the ground floor on either side. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with round-headed leaded casements. The ground floor has two similar casement windows and a central door. There are flanking chimneys on an old tiled roof, and the gable reveals exposed timber. The doorway is segmental-headed and features a projecting porch supported by slender wooden Doric columns.
