Description

Fir Tree House is a 18th-century building located on Surley Row. It has been altered and features two storeys with a stucco front. There is a string course at the first floor level, and the building has an old tiled roof with end chimneys. The original casement windows have been replaced with glazing bar sash windows, with three on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The former door and trellis porch have been replaced with a replica Georgian-style doorpiece that has pilasters, panelled reveals, and a door. The rear of the house is made of painted brick and has three hipped gables. The interior has been modernized.
