Description

The kitchen garden walls located to the south and east of the stable block of Caversham Grove were likely built around 1878 to 1880, during the time when architect R. Norman Shaw was working on the house. These walls are approximately 8 feet high and constructed of red brick in English bond with a soldier course. The south wall features a classical pedimented gateway that includes a replica wrought iron gate.
