Monument. c1880. Granite. 4 sided obelisk on base set on sandstone plinth. Inscription reads: "Erected by the Officers and Ships Company of H.M.S. Shah To the memory of the Officers and men who died during the Commission in the Pacific and in the Zulu War. Commissioned 1876". (Berridge DW: Monuments and Memorials in the City of Portsmouth: 1984-: 14).
