Description

Nos 5 and 7 Wolverton Road are a pair of three-storey brick buildings dating from 1810, as indicated by the datestone 'Wilson 1810'. They feature stone brackets at the ends of the eaves and a shallow slate roof with bracketed eaves. The buildings have a brick chimney.

No 5 has casement windows with wooden mullions and transoms, while No 7 has glazing bar sash windows, both adorned with stone heads and keystones. The entrance to No 5 includes two steps leading up to a doorcase with a reeded surround and brackets that support a light hood extending from a square bay shop window. At the time of the survey, No 7 was operating as a restaurant, with its ground floor fitted with plate glass windows and faced with tiles. There are two doors on the front of the buildings.
