Description

Nos 115 and 117 Bewsey Road are a pair of houses dating from 1825. They are three storeys high and built of brick with a slate roof, a stone eaves cornice, and a stone base and one string course. The windows are mostly sash windows with glazing bars, set within brick arches and stone sills. The ground floor features three triple sash windows divided by fluted columns. Decorative iron balconies are present on two first-floor windows, and there are railings to single-storeyed wings with flat roofs. No. 115 has a later 19th-century porch. The entrance to No. 117 features an eight-panel door, fluted three-quarter columns, and a plain fanlight with a segmental head. Nos 115 to 125 (the odd numbers) form a group of early to mid-19th century buildings.
