No. 1 Froghall Lane is a mid-19th century building that serves as the return end of Nos. 72 and 74 Bewsey Street. It is constructed of brick and stands three storeys tall, featuring a stone band above the ground floor. The entrance consists of a central panelled door topped by a round-headed fanlight with glazing bars set within a round brick arch. On the ground floor, there are two 12-paned sash windows, while the first floor has three sash windows, and the top floor features three 6-paned sashes, all with stone lintels. No. 1, along with Nos. 6 to 10 (even), forms a group with Nos. 72 and 74 Bewsey Street.
