Description

  1. FROGHALL LANE 5150 No 6 (Ivy Lodge) and No 8 (Laburnum Villa) SJ 6088 1/75 II GV

  2. Semi-detached Gothic Victorian villas, but No 6 occupies two/thirds and No 8 is one/third of composition. Brick with stone dressings, 2 storeys. No 6 has centre battlemented porch with cornice and stilted arched doorway, and pointed arched window above; flanking gables with cusped and carved bargeboards and pinnacles, and upper sashes with long and short quoins and labels, and lower bay windows. No 8 is similar but appears as additional wing, with battlemented porch to left, bay window to right, and one gable only.

Nos I, and 6 to l0 (even) form a group with Nos 93 and 72 and 74 Bewsey Street.
