Description

The sundial, dating from the 17th century, is located to the west of Lavendon Grange. It features a stone pier with a moulded base and capital, and a circular shaft that is decorated with an incised spiral. The sundial has a bronze plate inscribed with "1675 John Tomes London." It serves as the central feature of the walled garden on the west side of the house.
