Description
La Vendon Mill House is a late 18th-century house that has been altered. It is constructed of stone and features a slate roof with flanking and central brick chimneys. The house has a central dormer with a hipped roof and small bracketed wooden eaves. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The south front has three bays of sash windows, and there is an early 19th-century canted bay window on the right side of the ground floor. The central entrance door has a rectangular glazed fanlight and is set in a panelled doorcase with narrow pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. To the right, there is a slightly later two-storey bay with a canted bay window and a sash window above. Attached to the left is a ruined wing, which is the remaining part of the former water mill.
