Description

Rothbury is a late 18th-century house that has been altered and is now divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of colour washed brick with a slate roof and features two brick chimneys at the rear and one on the ridge. The north front has three bays, with upper sash windows. The ground floor includes three canted bay windows that have small cornices and flat lead roofs. There is a six-panelled door situated between the right-hand and centre bays, which is topped by a plain hood supported by posts. The east gable showcases a 19th-century two-storey canted bay window with a tiled roof and apron.
