Description
The forecourt piers and wall located to the south of Lavendon Grange date from the 18th century and are constructed of stone. The low retaining wall features five central steps and incorporates some old carved stones. At each end of the wall, there are tall square ashlar stone piers with moulded cornices and urns on top. The wall extends for a short distance and is terminated on either side by smaller rubble stone piers that have chamfered tops and urns. The central steps are aligned with the central gable of Lavendon Grange and the Stable Block.
