Description
A stable block, likely dating from the early 18th century, stands south of Lavendon Grange, aligned with the southern front of the main house. The building is constructed of stone, with an old tiled roof, and a projecting gable to the north side, topped with a stone cope. It is a single storey in height, with lofts above. A circular window is set within the central gable, framed with ashlar. A central carriage arch, now blocked, is finished with segmental ashlar and a keyblock. Two-light wooden casements are situated in each bay flanking the centre, with former stable doors that have now been blocked in stone. Attached to the rear is a longer barn range from the 19th century, divided into three sections. The southern section of the barn is lower than the others and has an asbestos roof. There are two arched doorways made of ashlar stone in the barn.
