Description

Newton House is a late 18th-century building located on Olney Bridge Street. It is constructed of stone with a slate roof and features brick chimneys. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two hipped dormers. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight, with panelled reveals and a doorcase that includes panelled pilasters supporting upper panelled sections and a cornice hood. On either side of the entrance are 19th-century canted bay windows, each adorned with pilasters and dentilled cornices. The first floor has two tripartite sash windows, which are fitted with wooden lintels and keyblocks.
